Everything was perfect and exactly what I hoped it would be. My husband told me that he wished we were staying a week. Our dog had so much fun during our short hike down to the river! Definitely tucked back in the woods but not far from main road to get around the area. Spacious bedrooms especially upstairs master suite. Very nice kitchen/dining area. Enjoyed time on the deck and had some nice evening fires. We also took a few walks on the trails along the river. John was super great with communication and made staying at the property super easy! It was a fantastic 4th of July trip with our friends! It was a bit of a drive from Lynchburg, about 45 minutes but not bad. While we did not explore the property much but it was secluded and very quiet. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. While a car would be okay to get to the cabin, an SUV would make the drive easier. The home is clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed during our stay (to include excellent WiFi and air conditioning that kept us quite comfortable despite the high heat/humidity outside). We especially enjoyed following the mowed trail to and along the Rockfish River, where we saw a wide variety of wildlife.
