“We enjoyed our stay: heard many birds, saw some beautiful sunsets. Exploring Middlebury and the maritime museum were highlights. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. This is a great getaway for a young couple.”

“This was a very nice place to stay as we explored Vermont for the first time. This location was central enough for day trips to Stowe, Burlington, Woodstock, Manchester and Bennington. Restaurants in Killington and Rutland were close by for dinners. ”

“Older cottage, but clean and freshened up with paint. Small, but had everything you needed, including fans in every room, books, games, kitchen ware. Beds were not that comfortable for the older folks, fine for the younger ones. Shared access to kayaks, canoe, and paddle boards was a huge plus! Beautiful spot on Lake St. Catherine, perfect for swimming and boating right from the yard. Two other cottages share the outdoors space and amenities (fire pit, grill, kayaks, swim docks, etc.). “Have stayed here for 4 consecutive years. Skipped a couple of years and brought my family with me this time. They loved the place, the atmosphere and the coziness of the place. We are planning on going back again next year! I recommend this place to all my friends. ”

“A great location for the hiking and kayaking we wanted to experience in the Adirondack mountains. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied. The home was a little dark for reading which were were prepared for with book lights. You can hear the cars on route 87 to be aware of if the would bother you. ”
