"Perfect in every way! The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It's situated approx 7 mins away from town in one direction, so you can leave the car on the drive, (a major plus) and 10 mins walk away from the woods in the other: ideal for an early morning, or any time dog walk! There's a hose in the garden for dirty boots and dogs and the back gate locks for security. Heating was easy to adjust and the fire worked beautifully. "The welcome from Imi on reception started our stay, he was so engaging and helpful and a credit to the hotel. Our room was clean and served us well. The only thing we needed and not provided in the rooms was body lotion although interestingly it is in the public bathrooms. The restaurant in the golf club building was very nice. Our server Amber was again a credit to the hotel and gave great service. The food was plentiful and an excellent quality and taste. Our friend with a dairy intolerance was well catered for. The breakfast was very good with lots of variety of continental and full English options. The hotel is close to lots of places to visit making it an ideal place to stay to explore."

"Hotel was located within a service station so plenty of amenities available. We ate in the restaurant on our first night which was nice and not too pricey. Rooms were clean but a little dated. Housing around sink was coming away but overall what we needed for our stay as we were out on both days and we got a great price for our two night stay. £10 to park was an extra cost we could of done without."
