Downstairs there is a large living room with a non-panoramic balcony with table and chairs, a complete kitchenette, dining area and a sofa and an armchair (which also become a comfortable double bed and another single bed). There is also a work area with a desk and PC workstation Still on the fourth floor is the full bathroom with shower. An internal staircase leads to the sleeping area which occupies the entire upper floor, with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and one or two other single beds. Up to seven people can therefore sleep in the apartment. We can also provide a baby bed and a highchair. Our guests will be able to use the entire apartment and its extensive equipment. Among others: unlimited FTTH wifi connection, smart TV with satellite antenna, telephone. The washing machine is available for stays starting from three days. There are also an iron and ironing board, a hairdryer. In the kitchen, utensils and crockery for cooking and eating meals as well as a kettle, toaster, electric and microwave oven, American coffee machine. There are wardrobes available to guests both downstairs and upstairs. The Rifredi district is equipped with services, supermarkets and shops of all kinds. The apartments are located just a few minutes from the Careggi university and hospital and Meyer. The area is very well connected to the historic center by public transport. At 100 meters from the house, the bus stop 20 which leads to the central Piazza San Marco in about twenty minutes. At about 800 meters, or at a bus stop, is the terminus of the tram that goes from Careggi to the central station and arrives at the Villa Costanza bus station. About 900 meters away, along the bus line 20, is the Firenze Rifredi station, from which very frequent trains leave, which in just five minutes take you to Santa Maria Novella station These trains work like a surface underground and are the faster and more comfortable means to reach the center of Florence or many locations in Tuscany, from Pisa, Lucca, etc. . A self check-in is possible. We also will be glad to meet our guests upon their arrival to give them the keys, show them the apartment and orient them in the neighborhood, providing them with the necessary information for mobility and the services available. In case of need we will always be contactable and available to intervene, if necessary. Do you plan to visit Rome too? The host was easy to communicate with using What’s App. The pro regarding this unit is that it is in a secure building and does have an elevator to reach the 4th floor it is located on. However, the bedroom is on the second floor of the unit, so there are stairs to climb. The A/C worked wonderfully. The cons about this unit is that it is much farther away from the train station and city hub than we expected. We had to take a taxi or use the train/shuttle to get from the train station to be able to walk to this rental unit. The apartment is the perfect size for a longer stay. We were there for 2.5 weeks. The bathroom is a trip down the stairs at nite which was not convenient but doable. The apartment was chilly after they turned the heat off for the season but we had sufficient bedding. Also it is a pretty long trip by public transport to the center of Florence. All were described well in the apartment description. Bruno did everything he could to make our trip perfect. Bus 20 takes you into the old part of town. BUT IF YOU HAVE DRIVEN TO FLORENCE BE AWARE THERE IS NO PARKING. We were told parking was available. This was street parking which is near impossible to find an empty space. When we contacted the owner all he could suggest was to park at the nearby hospital carpark which was a kilometre away! The host very nice , washing machine was great.Air conditioner worked, 4th floor. Convenient if you are looking for a city apartment. There were no toys or art supplies for kids-good idea to put some for the kids that arrive on vacation. It gave us a good sense of life in Florence. The tram and train are easily accessible and we even used electric bikes a few times to get around town. I went as a solo traveler, my first time abroad. Bruno was a charming host and was extremely helpful.
