The check in process was different as in we had to call to check in. There is no front desk like most hotels. Now that I know that I would stay there again. Room was clean. A peaceful and friendly environment and very close access to the Blue Ridge Parkway.

This place was perfect to rest before moving on on our trip. The view to watch the sunset was wonderful. The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Definitely would stay here again. The only thing is I did not receive an email with the room information. I called the main number and she was very helpful with sending me the information I needed to check in.

The staff were awesome. Our reservation was messed up somehow but they found us a room and were so super nice. They are renovating some areas but again the staff were the best and the room was very comfortable. We will go back for sure.

The place is under a new management and has been remodeled. The whole place was extremely clean. We did have some problems with the keyless locking system and did not have internet for the night we stayed there. There is a restaurant that had just opened from 7:00 to 3:00 and a 24-hour convenience store that is well lit with little snacks and sodas and such in vending machines. The location is quite quiet and right off the Blue Ridgeparkway. Pretty close to an excellent restaurant Chateau Morissette and per my neighbors it's a short drive to other restaurants in Floyd. Would stay there again.

This place is actually quite the gem. The only knock I have is that you cannot check in until 4:00 pm but the staff departs about 3:00. So you do a self-check in. That is absolutely fine except we don’t know that until we arrive at 4:30 pm. You have to travel six miles to Floyd to find dinner as the Tuggle’s Gap diner closes after lunch. Also their sign says the store is open 24/7 which is not true. It closes at same as the cafe. Very nice rooms and they are clean! Great location very close to an entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Give them a look!

We had an advanced reservation and when we arrived there was no one there, all the doors were locked and empty parking. There were no other rooms available in the area. Hotels.com had it at the top of their list and highly recommended. Very unhappy!!

Charming Property

Tuggles Gap Roadside Inn is a charming roadside Inn that has been recently renovated. The rooms are tastefully decorated, contemporary yet rustic . The owner is friendly and helpful I highly recommend staying here when passing through or exploring the area.
