The 2nd level open-concept living room and kitchen area showcases expansive ocean views through the large beach side windows. Direct beach access from the property leads down into sun kissed beach days and unforgettable beach memories with your loved ones! This spacious retreat is perfect for families or groups of up to 8 guests. The plush living room furnishings and abundance of natural light creates an inviting space for everyone to gather. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to whip up delicious meals, from fresh seafood to classic beachside fare. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a kitchen novice, you'll love the convenience and functionality of this space. Each bedroom is adorned with a comfortable queen-sized bed and high-quality linens, promising a restful night's sleep. Three bedrooms have ocean views and one of these three bedrooms is accessed through an adjacent bedroom; ideal for a child's room or quiet home office. The Bonus room is streetside and has a Queen Bed. All bedrooms have easy access to the full bathroom on the first floor with a toilet and walk-in shower, as well as the half bathroom with only a walk-in shower. Bathroom 2 is located on the 2nd floor with a toilet and a tub. But the true magic of this duplex lies just beyond the living room French doors. Step out onto your private deck and soak in the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. Watch the sunrise, listen to the soothing rhythm of the waves, and breathe in the fresh ocean air. The direct beach access will allow you to walk out the back door and onto the warm sand with ease. Drive or ride your bicycles into the downtown area of Folly Beach, about 2 miles away. Here you will find our local restaurants, beach shops, rent a kayak or paddle board, catch a fishing or dolphin tour, or take a stroll down the Folly Beach Fishing Pier, the 2nd longest fishing pier on the East Coast. Want more history and a night out on the town? Just a short, 25-minute drive will have you to historical, downtown Charleston, SC to enjoy all of the charm that the Holy City has to offer! There is parking for 2 vehicles in the driveway. Additional vehicles must find off-street parking where available and follow the City of Folly Beach rules. Uber and Lyft are very scarce on the island, please plan your transportation accordingly. Check-in is at 4:00pm and check out is at 10:00am. Amenities include full size washing machine (in 1/2 bathroom) and dryer (in hallway), modern kitchen appliances, central heat and air conditioning, free WIFI, $250 VayK Life beach gear credit, keyless entry, linens, towel sets, and TVs. A starter amenity kit for bathrooms and kitchen are provided that guests replenish as they need. \* $4,500 per month from December - February. Der Hauptraum (oberes Geschoss) ist sehr hübsch mit Blick zu Strand und Meer. Wohnzimmer, Esszimmer und Küche sind ein gemeinsamer, großer Raum. Zwei schöne Terrassen sind vorhanden. Im unteren Geschoss befinden sich vier Schlafzimmer mit guten Betten.Was uns nicht gefallen hat sind die Bäder/Toiletten. Im unteren Geschoss hat es einen kleinen, Raum mit Waschmaschine, Dusche, Waschbecken und Klo. Hier muss man schräg auf die Toilette sitzen, weil man sonst mit den Beinen an der Waschmaschine anstößt. Und das Klo wackelt, da es nicht mehr richtig am Boden befestigt ist. In einem weiteren kleinen Raum im unteren Geschoss hat es eine Dusche und ein Waschbecken. Diese beiden Räume sind nicht wirklich schön, wirken alt und etwas schäbig.Im oberen Geschoss gibt es noch einen Raum mit Toilette, Waschbecken und Badewanne, man kann die Wanne nicht zum Duschen nutzen, da es keinen Duschvorhang gibt. Dieses Badezimmer ist aber insgesamt schöner. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, es hat alles was man braucht. Ein paar Haken in den Schlafzimmern wären toll, so dass man was aufhängen kann. Kitchen and linens were well stocked. Ample seating in living room and dining area with an updated feel. All bedrooms were downstairs with one being accessed through 2 other bedrooms. Downstairs bathrooms were not updated, were very small and not layed out well. Right on beach and away from the crowds. Never once had to get to the beach early to reserve a spot. Communication was great and check-in process was easy. They emailed some information before our stay with a lot of helpful info. The VayK credit was a nice addition. I was worried that it would be loud since it was right next to another unit but we never once heard the people in the unit next to us. We were disappointed that there wasn’t any closets in any of the bedrooms. The bathrooms were very disappointing but at least there was good water pressure. There are only two toilets even though the listing says three. There are two showers and one bathtub without a shower. I can see why they didn’t post any pictures of the downstairs bathrooms. The downstairs bathrooms and the four bedrooms were bunker like and reminded me of church camp. Room configuration a little odd as well as the bathroom situation but decent rooms and showers. Would have liked to have had a colander and beach towels. Please note that the grill is charcoal not gas and bring your own sponge unless you want to do dishes with an 2 by 2 square. We had the best view and couldn’t pull ourselves away from the beach. We had the best time just sitting on the deck watching lol the surfers and waves. Easy check-in. We rented bikes to ride up/down beach during low tide. The spot itself also could not be beat. Direct beach front and away from the crowded beaches near the pier.
