"Well presented room, in a quirky building that was slightly difficult to find as the name board has fallen down at some time and not been put back up. Would consider using again, but might look for options slight closer to the centre of Montlucon. We were only staying for one night on our way south through France. Staff friendly, continental breakfast ok and parking on site."

"This was a one-night stay after going to the theatre, so we just wanted somewhere cheap and cheerful. This hotel was 5 mins walk to the theatre, easy access and friendly staff. Room was small, but clean. We had all we needed, so good for the relative price (under 50€)."

"We have stayed at Campanile Hotels as they are conveniently situated, have ample free parking and have a restaurant. The room was clean and there was a large comfortable bed, good size bathroom and have external blinds which makes the room dark for sleeping. We were very disappointed as the restaurant was closed as it was a Sunday. The website stated it was open every day of the week including Sundays which is why we booked. Their own website should be updated! "

"Beautiful setting, pleasant and clean accommodations. Food at breakfast and table d'hote dinner was delicious and fresh, much of it harvested on site. Nearby Aubusson is charming, with small shops and bistros. The proprietors are delightful, warm, and hospitable. They both speak some English and were patient with our limited French. And they went out of their way to be kind and helpful, especially to my wife, who was recovering from an illness while we were there. Highly recommended!"

"What an incredible place! It is right at the most beautiful spot in this very cute French village, at the bridge over the river in the old town. The reception closed at 7pm and we were delayed on the way, so we called. We don't speak French and reception didn't speak English, but somehow we managed to get that we were arriving at 8pm. They texted back a google translated screenshot in English with directions and the door code. When we arrived we texted back for the parking code. The apartment...

"A rural location , and a friendly village pub and diner. The facilities were not 5 star but we were not expecting that.Friendly waitress coping well with some 20 diners at once. Regional food - ris de veau, and rognons , were delicious."

"La vue est conforme, la chambre pas tres grande mais suffisante pour une escale. dommage d'avoir un lit d'apoint sur 3 alors que nous avions precisé trois adulte, c'est moyen. La piscine n'est pas chauffée :-( Maisle cadre reste globalement agréable."
