My husband and I felt right at home and felt comfortable relaxing and just hanging out at the property. We also discovered the Nespresso machine, which we must be living under a rock because we have never heard of it before. Needless to say, we bought one when we got back. Overall, we had a great experience!”

“My two sisters and I took a trip to Savannah. We are all over 75 years old. It has been my dream to see Savannah. I chose this cottage because of the price and the reviews. We were not disappointed with the house. I would recommend the cottage to anyone.”

“This place exceeded all expectations, and I was already expecting to enjoy it! It's larger, cozier, and more welcoming than pictures show. Once my dogs gave it their 15-minute sniff around, they felt at home as well. Not unlike many of the other past guests, but only regret is that my stay wasn't longer. This place is a gym for sure!”

“We loved the old house and the old time feel. It had a lot of character and a lot of antiques but also friendly for kids of all ages. They just said put it up high if little hands would touch it. We would love to come to this same house for another vacation. We were all sad to leave!”

“We had a great stay. The house was perfect for our large, extended family. Everything was clean and comfortable. Perfect set up for several family groups to stay in one home. We loved the outdoor covered area and pier/dock. The Cornhole game was a hit. We even caught some crabs. The yard/pier/dock was a concern when I booked because our group included 2 children under 4. However I was pleasantly surprised to find it was totally safe with wire fencing on all sides. Savannah and the many beaches……

“We stayed here for 1 night while passing through from FL to NC. The house was a short distance from I-95, so that was nice. It was very quaint. We were traveling with dogs, so the backyard would have been nice, except the grass was a bit long, so we could not let them out. However, the quiet older neighborhood allowed for great leash-walking! This was a nice alternative to a hotel because it was quiet and gave us a little more space. We were there for less than 12 hours, so we did not have……

“We wanted to visit my daughter and her family at Fort Stewart but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. Fortunately we found this lovely property that allowed us to spend as much time together as possible before she left for Poland. The pool for my grandson to play in was a big plus. Charlene (the owner) was very responsive to our questions. I hope we can get back before my daughter leaves on her next assignment.”

“The cottage was the perfect place for us to stay and entertain family. The right amount of space and the location made it easy to get around.”

“There are many pros with this property but a few cons. Beds were hard as a rock, had difficulty sleeping there 5 nights. Neighborhood is a little sketchy, I also regret not staying closer to Savannah. We caught a few small bass and a catfish in pond behind house. I requested twice to chat with local owner/ property manager before our trip as we had questions about fishing, ect and never heard back so that’s a CON about this listing for sure.”

“The property is very close to Ft. Stewart, which made visiting my son's family very easy and convenient. The host was communicative and answered all messages in what seemed like minutes. She also wanted to know what could be done to make the property better, which isn't always the case with hosts we've had in the past. I would happily recommend this property if you are visiting the area.”
