The bed was comfortable and the shower had hot water with good pressure, which is nice after a day of hiking in Big Bend National Park. The lodge is about 1.5 hours away from any hikes that you’ll want to do in the park, but the views are amazing and worth the drive. The rooms have a microwave and fridge, but no televisions, which is nice and gives you an off the grid experience that I enjoy from time to time. The restaurant had great food and quick service and we even got to enjoy some live music for our dinner one evening! It was warm , cozy and both cold and hot water running without any glitch. Location is a quite far from the Terlingua downtown though but the ranch is fully self supportive and has its own nice restuarant with nice great food options both for breakfast , lunch and dinner with reseanable price. Clean, quiet, comfortable cabin. Nice stargazing patio. Walk-in shower easy for all 3 of us to get clean after a long day of hiking. Bed was big enough for all of us and comfy. Restaurant on site had great staff that made us feel at home for diner and breakfast and the food was on point. It is a long way down the road to get to it but worth it. Rooms are nice (small fridge ONLY) but sitting underneath the mountains is nice. Bad Rabbit Cafe is right there and can get you anything you need if you're hungry. We had a great time and would stay here again.
