“This was an incredible place to stay. Loved the old woods (incl the drive in), the house, the hot tub, the deck, fire pit. So comfortable. So many thoughtful touches. Decor was so well done but also so inviting. Our only disappointment was the weather. Our usual m.o. in nature is to be outside for everything possible. Unfortunately, most of our visit was rainy. “The layout is nice, the view is wonderful. The noise level from highway is loud at times. The windows do not all have screens and some of them have openings that let in bugs. The kitchen is not well equipped with items, such as sharp knives, coffee, baking pans, or serving dishes. The pillows are terrible and the blankets are cheap.”

“My boys and I were looking for a nice place to go and get away from memorial weekend. The house is located close to the lake. We were able to rent a boat and have a nice day on the lake Saturday and then come back to a relaxing house for the rest of the weekend. We dealt with several severe storms. The owner was kind enough to reach out to us while we were on the lake to let us know that we were out of power, and that it should be back on soon.”

“The house was very reasonably priced so we did not go with high expectations. The location is great with spectacular views of Barren Lake. Everything is very simple with comfy beds and clean bathrooms. The rental was clean and comfortable. It could use updating but for the price it is more than reasonable and I can completely understand the owners not wanting to invest. Altogether we had a great time. Thank you”

“We were in for my daughter's college graduation and while this was a 30 minute drive it was great to get away and be in the country on the lake. The house was exactly as portrayed, if not better.
