Franeker is a interesting litte town with a rich history. "downtown" you will find the the world's oldest functioning planetarium. It was build by Eise Eisinga in his living room, partly to prove the end of the world was not near at all. "Zuerst will ich sagen dass die Besitzerin sehr Freundlich und nett war zu uns. Leider ist die Unterkunft nicht sehr sauber und nicht gepflegt. Die Türen könnten nicht richtig geschlossen werden von Innen und von drausen musste man mit Fuss reinhauen das sie zu gehen.
