The Stables Cottage was the perfect place to relax and unwind for the weekend. So peaceful and the view from the deck both day and night was incredible. The cottage is beautifully appointed inside, everything you need, just bring food and drinks. John is a so warm and friendly, full of local knowledge, such a great host. We had a very relaxing stay. The cottage is set in a beautiful rural area and yet only 45 minutes from the lake which is an absolute must to visit. Our only comment is to use caution with the kitchen taps as the hot water is very hot.

Perfectly snug, warm cottage with great facilities. We loved our stay and will be back to take John up on his offer of a walk around the farm. Awesome river views and farmland all around. Peaceful. Everything we needed was on hand.
