“When we booked we were just looking for a little room for the night- but the property was a gem in the center of Mount Vernon. The staff was so helpful when we arrived and the breakfast was perfection (we didn’t know it came with breakfast! What a treat). We feel so lucky to have found the Mount Vernon Inn for our brief visit to Kenyon College.”

“Good price and convenient to Mid-Ohio. Storms knocked out power and water. Most other guests were moved to another hotel in the same area that had power and water but I was not. I did get a refund for 1 of 2 nights stay. The door to my room didn't have weather stripping.”

“Clean property, great blackout curtains, good air conditioning. They are at a good location with Bob Evans and McDonalds within walking distance. Staff were friendly and had no problem when I requested a late checkout. Breakfast was simple but enough and in a clean room with a good tv.”

“I appreciate that we were allowed to check in, and the breakfast was very good. However, the staff needs to be more courteous, and the cleanliness of the bathrooms—both in the room and at the pool—was mediocre.”

“The staff was AWESOME! Very helpful and accommodating. The room was perfect. When I thought it couldn’t get any better the food was top notch! Was in town for the Mid Ohio MotoAmerica races so I only spent one night wished I could have enjoyed it longer. I will certainly be back next year for the races. This time I will come in Friday and spend a couple nights with you. Thanks again, Jeff W”
