"A very unique place. Outside looks like any house in the neighborhood, but once you step inside, it feels like you’ve stepped into a medieval castle of sorts. Amazing old world charm, and works of art and pictures everywhere. In the dining room are a lot of pictures of the house thru the years so you can see the progression. I was told the house is over 300 years old. The hosts were great, very friendly and accommodating without making you feel like they were hovering. They serve a “cook to order” breakfast every morning. Everything was delicious, quite a few options on the menu. The place was clean, quiet and the surrounding grounds were lovely. It’s apparent that they love nature and gardening as there are many plants and flowers everywhere. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to the season, but the pool area looked inviting if the weather permits. I highly recommend a stay here. "
