"Due to renovation work we were moved to The Old Inn just down the road, excellent hotel, room was really nice and the food was awesome. The beef burger was the best I’d ever tasted. The staff were lovely and helpful, travelling partner said the cooked breakfast was really good . Would stay again "

"A lovely lodge hotel in a beautiful setting. Plentiful parking and spacious rooms. Nice lounge and snooker room to relax if you didn’t want to stay in your room. If arriving by night, it’s hard to spot the hotel sign at the side of the road so it’s easy to drive straight past. The hotel restaurant serves nicely presented and beautifully cooked local produce. The menu is a little limited and pricey but the staff were friendly."

"The pictures that accompany this listing do not begin to describe the stunning beauty of this place. The ocean and the surrounding mountains are breath-taking! The hike down to the secluded beach is moderately difficult but well worth the effort . The beach front hike provided more stunning views. The apartment is very modern with a comfortable living area, a kitchen with a stove top/oven, plenty of cooking utensils and modern appliances. There are 2 large bedrooms (one with a magnificent view of the ocean and surrounding mountains), each with a private toilet and shower. There are several restaurants in the area and dinner at the Badachro Inn is a must! Our lovely hosts, Mark and Maria, were most gracious and helpful. We will most definitely stay here again the next time we are in the Gairloch region."

"Had a lovely stay in Shiskine! The only thing I worried about was the proximity to the road but so few cars drove by, especially at night, that it is no problem at all. Peaceful and quiet. The tiny house/pod is just as promised in the pictures. I had a fantastic time exploring the surroundings of the lighthouse and of course all the beaches nearby. The beach below the property was basically a private one (in October), as I only saw a couple of other people once."

"Really lovely hotel with cosy lounge with open fire-perfect venue for colder autumn nights. Room was lovely and everywhere seemed freshly painted. Food was good with large portions. Beautiful view and well worth staying for a few days. Very much the Victorian country house hotel. "
