"A really great place to stay. This is a tiny house that is equipped with the most important things in a beautifully minimalistic manner without a lot of frills. The washrooms are in the main building, about 15 meters away, which is the only negative point. But if you can overlook it, you shouldn't miss it. It is located on the outskirts of Kiruna, which is why it is very quiet, especially at night. I haven't slept so well in a long time."

"Wonderful place to come down"

"This is a great house with plenty of space with great views from the large windows. It has everything you need, including bed linen and towels. The owner communicated very well and was very responsive and helpful. A big negative was the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the house. The smell was everywhere and in everything. All bed linen stinks, so do towels, curtains and other fabrics. The owner suggested to open the door and windows to get rid of the smell but that did not help at all....

"Aurora Camp is a highly overpriced property with very limited facilities available to the international customers. Without your own transport, you will be virtually locked up in the property. Any transfer by the managing company is highly expensive. Just for 5 to 10 km transport, you will end up paying over 500 SEK. There are no restaurant or cafe available at the facility. Reception is always closed. In spite of all the shortcomings, Hotel.com keep advertising this property at an ...

"Staff friendly and helpful, good choices at breakfast buffet. Nice out look from dining room. Our room was warm and cozy, small but had everything we needed and plenty of storage for our bags etc. Room was very clean."

"I had a great experience at the Elite Hotel Frost. This was helped, I’m sure, by the fact that I was given a free upgrade to a premium room. The front desk staff were delightful. The lobby was very cozy (giving it a somewhat different feel from the Scandic Hotel around the corner). The restaurant had excellent Lapland-themed meals for dinner and a traditional Swedish breakfast with lots of options (including vegan ones). I loved the design of my room, which was simultaneously upscale and contemporary, but also really brought the feeling of nature into the room. The bed was comfortable, and they had a “pillow menu,” so guests with different preferences could choose the firmness and thickness that worked best for them. The bathroom, similarly, had a stand-out design, with nice use of indirect lighting… and a towel warmer. Being a new hotel, the whole place was impeccable. The newness had its downsides, as the hotel was still a work in progress. The parking garage was not completed (which was fine, since I was there in August and not the snowy months). The spa was open (pool and sauna), but had not yet started offering spa treatments. On the whole, I liked the Elite Frost better than the Scandic, where I stayed last year, though the free upgrade maybe makes this an unfair comparison. Elite Hotel Frost will be my hotel of choice when in Kiruna."

"The place is located near the highway, which is great, especially when traveling long distances by car, so that you can rest well overnight. The room was silent and the surroundings between the nature are calm and peaceful. Just take into account that there might not be food service so you have to manage it, from at least a few kilometers away, also the room didn't offer shampoo or hair conditioner in case of taking a shower. Other than that, the room was basic but clean and comfortable."

"I stayed in a glass igloo and it was amazing. The serene surroundings made for a peaceful stay. A moose passed by my igloo several times during my stay and I was able to get some decent photos of the aurora borealis. In the winter you can take a short walk across the river and see the sites of Jakkasjärvi, which includes the world famous Ice Hotel. The staff were kind and extremely helpful. The igloo, lounge, and shared bathrooms were immaculate. The provided breakfast was minimal but sufficient. I would highly recommend staying here."
