Galloway Creek Greenway Vacations from $493

When I checked in, I was told our room was on the third floor. I was then told there were no elevators. I asked if we could be transferred to a lower location because I was concerned my elderly mother would struggle with the stairs. I was told I should have told them of my concern at the time of booking. There was no way I could be relocated because the property was 100% booked. We arrived early in the afternoon so I did not understand why we could not be switched to a lower room that was assigned to someone who had not arrived yet. I was told under no circumstances could we be relocated. Imagine my confusion all weekend long when from my front door, I could count at least three unoccupied condos located on the first and second floors of the same building we were booked into. I felt the customer service representative at the desk was neither of service or even nice to speak with. The unit itself was fine. It is outdated and had a slight musty scent. The furnishings are old and the couch was stained. I am not sure I would stay at this location again.

The staff were friendly. However, At check-in my parking pass was not given to me so we received three calls about it at 7:30 the next morning. The condo looks just like the pictures and was roomy for my large family, but was a little dated. The carpet throughout was old and stained and the stove burners in the kitchen were hard to use because they were bent up. They didn’t provide simple kitchen utensils like pancake turners and they only had a few pans and one sheet pan, which made cooking a bit of a hassle. They didn’t provide dish soap we had to get our own, and they didn’t have extra trash bags available. We have a large family, so that would have been helpful as all of the trash cans were very full when we left. Also, although the rooms were clean at a glance, there were cobwebs and spiders everywhere (some dead, some alive). I recommend that they get their property sprayed by pest control. When we first walked in, we killed 5 spiders within the first 10 minutes. On day two of our stay, I found two more spiders in the laundry area and another bug came crawling in as we were sitting in the living room area. In addition to that, when I went to use a towel from the bathroom downstairs, there was a bug inside of it. Lastly, the shower in the main room had mold inside of it.

The owner of this particular unit H2 had not changed the air conditioning air filter in a very long time as it was filthy covered in hair and dirt in the air was obviously difficult to breathe in the unit itself. I called the service number they said they would bring out a new filter and never did even though I reminded them several times so we bought a new filter and replaced it ourselves at our own expense. Unhappy

It's so cute! Felt like the perfect getaway. Very family friendly and the staff was great!
