Maybe let people know this information before they book. They were loud, slamming doors, doing cheers in the hallway at 11pm and later. I'm an extremelyught sleeper and even with our fan for static noise, they were loud. We have had the best experience both times. The second time we visited, there was a ton of kids due to tournaments and it was busy! This doesnt bother us, we have been there, but it was amazing how the staff handled it all! They put us up on the top floor when the kids and families were below us. They worked extra hard at breakfast to keep the food coming and their humor about it all put a smile on our face. The hotel is older but the staff, the cleanliness, and amenities make it so nice. We have plans to come back to Springfield to visit family soon and we will be booking with Comfort Inn South again. Beds were comfortable, pillows were small and flat. Plenty of towels and staff came in and replaced towels so we had extras for the next day. Staff was very social and helpful. Workout room had an elliptical, weight bench with weights, and treadmill. Very small but nice to have. Breakfast was very nice, lots of options. Pool was nice, hot tub was perfect temp and clean. All the amenities worked and the staff was friendly. BuT, I booked this property specifically for the hot tub and pool, my daughter and i were here for a hige exam and wanted to spend the night relaxing but when we got there the pool was closed bc it was being "cleaned". Normally if an area of the hotel is not available I get an email so that i can make other arrangements if i prefer but that did not happen with tbis hotel. Also when I took a shower there was a used towel hanging on the back of the door.
