“Lovely cottage which is very clean and well equipped. We arrived a bit earlier than the normal check in time, and the house owner is very kind to let us in. The environment is really nice and we had a very good time. Thanks for providing such a lovely place for us to stay.”

Great discussions and selection of wines. The room was very cosy and secure with everything we needed and the BBQ was great for what we needed. Indulged in a spa on site and again were impressed by the property. Would definitely go back. ”

“Overall, it's a great motel with spacious rooms and a central location in town. However, room service could use some improvement, as the floors are not vacuumed. Additionally, the motel's entry and exit are at a busy roundabout, which can be somewhat hazardous.”

“I had a lovely albeit short stay at Hawkdun Rise. Suzanne and John are wonderful hosts who make you feel at home. The interior could be slightly more modern for my personal taste but everything was very clean and well kept. And you can tell that the owners put a lot of thought into creating a space in which their guests can feel comfortable and welcome. Need to try their Gewürztraminer! ”
