Wonderful Experience

We had fourteen young adults and four older adults that stayed at the house. It was a great fit! The house was clean and the rooms were just as they were advertised. There were plenty of pots and pans to cook for a large group! We enjoyed the pool and the fire pit. The location is perfect! We walked to the beach and had just a short drive to all that Galveston had to offer! It was a great place for an extended weekend!

Pictures look better than actual house. Need a new floor. Bedroom with bathroom had leak in ceiling from the rain. Water was on the floor. For the price I paid we were hoping to have smaller tv’s in each bedroom. Seat on toilet in game room bathroom was loose. Need a second rack in oven. We had a good time but would not rent again without some changes.

House review

House has plenty of room and beds. 4 of our party was unable to attend so we had plenty of room. If you want to use pool, go in summertime, pool is not heated. Living room needs a recliner. My husband sleeps in a recliner at home because of his health, so it would have been nice to have one. Overall house was ok!

Great for large families

This house was perfect for my family of 13 (parents,grandparents and kids). The kids loved swimming in the pool and the cool game room. There was plenty of beds and the house was clean. Communication with the property manager was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Pictures need to be updated

Overall a very nice home but the pictures need to be updated. There are tiles in the kitchen coming completely off and also in front of the back door. The sink drains into the dishwasher and then leaks on the floor. The pictures show 4 stools at the dining room table and there are only 2 and both are very unstable. One of the bar stools has a screw coming through the seat so you really only get 2 seats for eating.

House could have been cleaner and pool was dirty. Messaged owner about the pool and he sent someone over quickly but they just threw some chemicals in the pool and left all the dirt in the bottom.

Needs Work

No ocean view but in walking distance to the beach and convenient to most everything Galveston has to offer. Awesome pool area, But, rainy, windy and cold our whole stay. Residence had a rather damp, musty smell. Patches on the walls, laminate flooring peeling away in spots and no real eating area for large group. Large sectional couch, but not enough comfortable seating for 5 adults and 3 teen boys. It's a house with a 2-car garage converted into a game room with bunk beds and a shower. Certainly functional for our group but in bad need of serious renovation. We only spent 21/2 days here and it served our needs. It seemed more suitable for a large Ozarks cabin. A lot of "corners" have been cut in producing this VRBO.

Very Decent Vacay House

Here is a copy of message I sent but did not receive a response. I will say when contacted about coffee maker they responded immediately and delivered new coffee maker. We enjoyed our stay this weekend. I did want to let you know that we couldn't get the a/c in the game room to work so it was quite warm in there. I didn't message about it because I thought I didn't use the remote correctly but realized that was not the case. Also, the floors are in bad shape. Tiles are peeling up and splintering. At one point someone caught their barefoot on a thin sliver but fortunately it did not break the skin. But it is definitely a safety/tripping hazard. There is a spot by the back door that has rotted and sinking as well. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The bath tubs were clean but the caulking was black and moldy and kinda gross. I would put some hooks in the bathrooms and back porch along with a few more towels. With the pool, the kids went through them pretty quickly and they would end up on the dirty floor because there was no place to hang them. Also, the blankets and pillows were pretty shabby, there were no extra blankets so we took blankets from the beds that weren't used. The bedroom tv didn't work and that was disappointing. You have a great house in a great location, it just needs a few improvements along with a few simple extras for convenience. While we had a great time, without the updates mentioned, I would most likely choose a different house. I
