"The house was supplied with most everything we needed from cooking supplies, cleaning, and showering. Very beautiful and clean home with nice open living room area. The master bathroom had a Jack and Jill shower very modern! Wi-Fi and even a record player was supplied. They had some basics there including coffee and butter. The backyard fire pit and chairs were perfect. The view was amazing. The river was good too look at but definitely not to swim in. You could jump off the dock but you don't want to touch the bottom it was very mucky. We tried to fish but with no luck.. We were told to go around the bend a little bit for better fishing. The nearest gas station or store was about a 15 minute ride. Dollar General and Walmart were our main grocery and liquor stores. Mammoth Cave was one hour ten minutes away. The woods were beautiful and cardinals were everywhere! "

"We checked in about 430pm Saturday August 23rd and the lady at the front desk was so kind to switch our rooms to a downstairs room due to my dad being disabled. The front lobby was nice offering coffee and ice water. The rooms were also very nice with hardwood flooring a nice tv, mini fridge and a microwave. The beds were comfy and clean. They had a pool that looked clear and clean but we did not use. It was quiet at night and in the morning we had a very good continental breakfast with homemade sausage gravy and biscuits along with a waffle maker and batter machine, hot eggs, sausage patties, toast, cereal etc.... very clean and nice breakfast area to eat at. We were pleased with our stay and it was next door to Little Dave's Roadhouse which is a nice steakhouse with Good food and down the road from all the fastfood restaurants. Thank you for making our trip a nice one. "

"The house was lovely and well appointed. It was clean and we really only needed to bring food and beach towels for our stay. They even left us smores fixings. Our favorite part was the back deck that looked out over the water. It was nice to sit out there in the mornings, play games, and use the fire pit. My teenagers loved how big the rooms were and the comfy beds and couch. The neighborhood was quiet. We really appreciated being able to bring our dog. The one thing that I would mention is the steps to the lake. We appreciated that there were stairs because without them it would be difficult to get down to the lake. But if you have very little kids or older adults with mobility issues the stairs may be challenging. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Thanks for an amazing stay."

"We had a fantastic family get-together. This property was perfect for us. The pool was fun and good for kids! We enjoyed the outdoor sitting area a group gathering spot. The house itself is so special - with all the extras provided. I honestly have no criticism."
