"They didn’t mention during booking that the hotel is under construction. The hallway to my room was lined with boxes. The pool was not functional. The room its self was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable and for 2 people we were given 3 pillows the size of a couch pillow to sleep on. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was okay. "

"As soon as we got too our room it stunk like wet mold. And then upon further inspection everything was dirty. The bed was gross, the place hadn’t been vacuumed crumbs everywhere and there was a huge dead bug on the ceiling. The guy at the front desk was very kind and said he could refund the room. "

"The room was very dirty. Walls were covered in questionable dried substances, food or blood or both. The towels were either stained or not washed, as most had a large brownish stains or marks on them. We woke up to a puddle of brown water in the middle of the room from the mini fridge. Vomit in the stairwell from the night before not cleaned up, the hallways were rank with smoke and weed, cigarette burns on the bedding in a non smoking room. The hard flooring squished underneath your feet so I suspect there is water damage and mildew. The room had a very thick snap smell of rotten eggs and mildew or mold. When we left our room in the morning there was a man sleeping in the hallway right outside or doorway that gave us quite a scare. Felt very unsafe. Truly terrible, aside from friendly staff, although they did not ask how our stay was upon checkout, because I’m sure they ready know the answer. "

"We are extremely disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel. We specifically chose this property because it was advertised as non-smoking, which was especially important as we were traveling with our young family, including three small children. Unfortunately, upon entering our room, it was immediately clear that this policy had not been enforced. The room had a strong, lingering smell of cigarette smoke, as if someone had been smoking there for an extended period of time. This was not only unpleasant but also concerning from a health and safety standpoint, particularly for our children. We reported the issue to both the night clerk and the morning clerk, hoping for a resolution such as a room change or some form of compensation. However, both interactions resulted in little more than a brief apology, with no effort made to address the situation in a meaningful way. We also attempted to follow up with the hotel multiple times after our stay to express our concerns about the hazardous conditions we were subjected to, but received no response whatsoever. Even when Hotels.com tried to contact the hotel on our behalf, there was still no reply. It is incredibly frustrating to have paid for accommodations that were not only misrepresented but also unsuitable for a family with young children. The lack of accountability and customer service only added to an already negative experience. We cannot recommend this hotel and strongly urge management to take accountability. "

"I had a wonderful stay at the Cottonwood Airport & Expo Hotel Louisville. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Truly exceptional service from start to finish. The hotel and rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, I enjoyed my stay and would return. I recommend it to others!"
