“Really enjoyed our stay, don’t understand some of the negative reviews. It’s a lovely traditional pub, the food was very nice and the rooms were clean and felt recently redone. The only issue we had was the WiFi wasn’t great working on the telly, so the second night we struggled to stream anything. A WiFi booster / extender might solve this issue?
Highly recommend visiting the falls behind the pub (they are separate to the inn and you have to pay a small fee). Also Hawes is a lovely 30 minute...

“5 stars are not enough for the George and Dragon - the absolute best care and hospitality can be found here! Such a gem in a beautiful village with so much history. All the staff were so kind and accommodating, and the food was delicious and generous portions. Only place open for dinner in the evening so be sure to reserve! Highly highly recommend. ”
