“Great stay for what I needed”

“Another wonderful stay at Stow House - a beautiful boutique hotel in the Yorkshire Dales. We stay in the Cowboy room - wonderful room with roll top bath and heaps of space, with fantastic views over the Dales! We keep returning due to the great hospitality… this will be our 4th stay and we will be back! Breakfast delicious. Decor is cool & stylish. Artwork on the walls. Lots of books. Honesty bar & cocktail hour with homemade cocktails from the Savoy cocktail book, kindly served in the bar……

“Could not fault it! We stayed in the orient room and were very impressed, the hot tub is nice and private also.”

“Kind and helpful staff do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Beautiful garden behind the property. Excellent breakfast.”

“Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile.”
