"Lovely location with beachfront access. Each room is different. Ours was well appointed throughout, with pleasant mountain themed furnishings. Office closed quite early and opened late ,apparently due to " off season ". Didn't receive that information, so check in was somewhat confusing ."

"The property itself is gorgeous but the real bonus is the amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable mattress, quiet in the evening, Dry Sauna very enjoyable, on-site restaurant a bit pricy but delicious food and great wine list. Easy access to historic downtown Truckee and on the route for TART (free transportation for the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee area) Only "downside" was that the WiFi in the room was slow, so using streaming services on the TV was difficult. But that actually helped us disconnect from devices and really relax, so in many ways it was actually a plus! Will definitely stay here again."

"Overall I liked hotel. It is quaint hotel with some minor repairs needed. The room was very nice with a bathroom toilet the ran about every 6 hours. The pool was not available."
