“We enjoyed a relaxing couple of days at the Mountain View Retreat. We enjoyed the snacks (especially the muffins) and relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the view. We checked out a couple of the restaurants the host recommended, and were pleased with both. The space was just right for our family of four, and we appreciated the cozy fireplace to take the chill off of rainy fall days. “If you're for nice quiet place to stay with the family then look no further! The neighborhood is very laid back with lots of room between houses. This house is set at the back of its lot which gives you a giant front yard to play in. There are two small decks perfect for morning coffee. The inside of the house has a comfortable, welcoming feel. Overall, nice country type charm.”

“The location is excellent: close enough to downtown Anchorage but far enough away to be on the edge between suburban and rural. The bedrooms are small, but the large beds are more appreciated than more floor space would be! The kitchen, dining area, and living room are well-apportioned and comfortable. Shauna and Kirk were very accommodating and responsive to messages.”
