Summary:
Live your childhood dreams in the Cedar! This 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom treehouse is the perfect escape from reality! Hidden among the trees on the cusp of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this is the perfect place to relax and reconnect. With luxuries such as a TV with streaming services, shower, heating and air conditioning, you're ready to have any adventure during any season.

The Space:
Stepping in the front door, you're greeted by a common space and kitchenette; while this treehouse is cozy, there is a little room to gather. Above you is a loft with a queen bed. Back to the main floor, you'll have a bathroom with a toilet, sink, and shower - glamping at its finest! There is also another bedroom with a queen bed. The wraparound deck offers the perfect space to enjoy the tranquil sounds of the creek. Enjoy a coffee and listen to the babbling of the nearby creek on your porch! Entry to this treehouse is via ramp; there is walking on gravel hill required to access this treehouse. The paved parking lot is only a few steps from the treehouse - again keep in mind there are steps and hills before getting to this treehouse.

Guest Access:
This treehouse has keypad entry using a code provided via email before your stay. While this allows for no-contact entry, feel free to stop by our general store and visit with us and get some fan gear!

The Neighborhood:
Nestled in Treehouse Grove within the Norton Creek Resort. Norton Creek Resort boasts over 500 acres of wilderness, mountains and creek. While there are no designated hiking trails (YET!) in the resort, there are many to choose from minutes away in Gatlinburg or further into the Great Smoky Mountain National Park!

Travel just 15 minutes away to Gatlinburg and stop for a hearty breakfast. There are a dozen restaurants that serve a delicious protein packed meal that will keep your energy up for the hike ahead.
From here you travel to the Roaring Fork Nature Trail and begin your hike. You meander through an old-growth hemlock forest with the smell of wildflowers all around you. Soon you see a splendid sight up ahead: the trail goes behind the 25-foot waterfall known as Grotto Falls!
As you pass behind the flowing water you smile broadly. All this fun and it isn’t even time for lunch yet.

Getting Around:
While this treehouse is secluded in the woods, you are close to all the action! In under 20 minutes, you and your guests can be in the heart of Gatlinburg, TN, home to fun attractions like Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, Ober Gatlinburg, and Anakeesta! If you are hoping to get some shopping in, you are right by Tanger Outlets in Sevierville. If you are looking for an all-day activity, there’s Dollywood and The Island in Pigeon Forge!
