“Oh dear. Having worked in hospitality and tourism for close to 30 years, I always try to find the positive when things go wrong but booking this apartment was a huge mistake. We arrived late on a Monday to find that it wasn’t the apartment that we’d actually booked on Expedia - it didn’t bear even a close resemblance - however we thought best make do and then speak to the agent the following day. Unfortunately by that point we’d found a seemingly endless list of snagging points including leaking……

“This was a lovely place that suited our family well. There was plenty of room for four of us. I liked the location, very walkable. Make sure to insist on instructions for getting in the building. We didn’t know which number to ring and were waiting in the rain outside. We got in because a guitar was coming out and he directed us to the right room and floor to check in. I never received an email with this information. After check in, everything was fine. ”
