The need to have ID for every adult in the flat for "health and safety" reasons is ridiculous. The flat itself was very nice though.

Fantastic hotel, lovely welcoming, helpful staff, our suite was amazing and food was furst class. Great location, especially if travelling by train, and the Thors tipi on the grounds was amazing, very christmasy, we chilled in front of the fire for hours. Will book again on our next visit to York.

Stunning hotel , quite small rooms but still very homely! We was even welcomed with a couple of mince pies! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Easy to get to the center of York. Car park is located to the rear of the hotel . Overall a lovely stay.
The only reason for 4 star is because the room was a little on the small side and due to being near the restraunt part we could hear the guests going to breakfast. But having said this we would stay again.

The rooms were warm, apartment is good. However, the cutlery, cups, are dirty with no dishwashing soap to wash them with. Pls do provide floor rugs for the toilet as the floor is wet after shower. The owner is very responsive .

The room was a little smaller than what we were expecting.We have stayed in Novotels and Premier inns over the past 3 weeks and their rooms were a bit more spacious. The bed Mattress is a poor quality and would suggest a review by the hotel. Hence 3 stars.
