You're spoiled for sightseeing choice when in Bandung. Gedung Sate is a good place to begin here, but there are loads of other fine spots to discover. Paris Van Java Mall, Trans Studio Bandung, and Cihampelas Walk are close to the historic government building and will round out your day nicely.
