Georgetown Mountain Inn was built back in the 60's and shows its age in character, charm and the need for some refurbishing. The doorknob on our room, for example, would let us in, but didn't always let us out without some prying and coaxing. The motel is family-friendly and thankfully, has a quiet time from 10p-8a. We partook of the "free" (somebody's paying for it :) continental breakfast including instant oatmeal, string cheese, coffee and lil' donuts (the kind with plastic-y chocolate frosting!), and got to practice patience while waiting our turn in the wee breakfast nook. Overall, the GMI is an OK/good place to stay, with friendly staff and plenty of hot water.
