A great place to stay in Georgetown. Very comfortable and easy access to the slopes. Nice 3 bedroom 3 bath layout. Owners were very responsive to any questions. Definitely plan to return.
We enjoyed the small town of Georgetown. The location was close to everything but still felt peaceful. Well stocked kitchen. Great Hosts with excellent communication. Hiking for all levels were walking distance. Old Downtown Georgetown had a concert Saturday afternoon. The house is Close enough to parks and Springs, for daytrips and plenty to do if you do if you don't want to get in your car.
We loved our stay at this property. The house is just as pictured and described in the listing. The neighborhood is quiet and very little traffic on the streets around the house. We spent hours sitting on the deck soaking in the beauty of the surrounding mountains. The property owner is fantastic! She made sure that we had what we needed. She left a folder full of information about the property and the surrounding area. If this property is on your list of possible vacation rentals, do yourself a favor and just rent it. You will not be disappointed!
I love to cook and this kitchen was fantastic! Actually got some ideas for my kitchen as home. Kristen was great at communication. The home was clean and the beds comfortable. Georgetown was beautiful in the autumn. Highly recommend biking around the lake. We had a peaceful weekend. Thanks for sharing your home
Great place to stay!
The house was awesome and very clean. Everyone had a bathroom in their bedroom! What a plus!
The kitchen had everything you need to cook, and we enjoyed the deck area and barbecued several times. We spent a lot of time around the fire pit enjoying the beautiful weather and just relaxing after a day of exploring the area.
There was lots to do. The kids went rafting and Zip lining. Lots of hiking close by.
The kids enjoyed the lake and they were able to kayak and knee board...thanks to the host for having those available to use.
Kristin, the host was always very quick to reply to any questions that we had. We had such a great time. We would definitely return...and recommend to anyone to stay here. Just a great location!
We spent almost 3 weeks at this incredible location. We needed a "home base" as our son graduated from medical school and got married. This was a perfect property for us. It had everything we could need in the property itself, and we could walk almost everywhere we wanted to in Georgetown. Our communication with the owner was easy and responsive. We would definitely return to this property!
Property manager was thoroughly communicative and accessible. House pictures are accurate. My two young kids loved their room with the bunks. I enjoyed having coffee out on the wrap-around porch. Kitchen was well stocked with supplies/appliances and in working order. Liked being able to use the puzzles and games from the living room. Pleasant walking distance to hiking trails, a small market, and downtown Georgetown.
A wonderful stay. The home was clean and comfortable, the neighborhood was quiet, and it had everything we need.I love nice decks around the house with views of the mountains a great place to relax after a long day of activities. The location was fantastic, within walking of distance to beautiful Georgetown lake ( great idea for fishing).Kristin responded quickly to any questions/needs and were super hosts.Highly recommend
Lots of room for family dinning big kitchen with lots of everything you need to cook and clean bedrooms spread out for privacy was great out doors nice decks and table for outdoor dinners and house was east to find safe close to everything we needed would recommend for any one with wanting to relax and get away.Kristin thanks for the great communication. The in house folder with everything we needed to know was great.Great value we would stay again if and when we come back to the area
Great house in a great location! Pet friendly too!
This house is even cuter than the pictures. The owner and location are very pet friendly. There is a great walking trail near the home for dogs. Each bedroom in the house has a private bath, making it an excellent home for a family or friends sharing a home. The bed was very comfortable! There were lots of amenities for recreation: bikes, trampoline, etc. We especially liked the projector for streaming movies on chilly nights. Communication with Kristin was great.
Georgetown has an adorable historic downtown, steam railroad trip, and Guanella Pass, with it's amazing views and tons of hiking. We saw several bighorn sheep near town during our stay. It's a great location with lots of nearby attractions too!
Excellent location, clean and relaxing place to stay!
Excellent location, clean and relaxing with everything you need. I recommend taking the train through the mountains, eating at The Alpine Restaurant it has great food! We walked to Georgetown and done a lot of shopping there. We went up the Guanella Pass it is beautiful. So many things to see and do here!
This home is the perfect place to getaway and enjoy a quiet little mountain town. All the amenities that you could need! Kristin was great throughout my stay making sure I had everything!
Kristin is very responsive and cares that you are happy and satisfied. The home has everything needed for a fun and relaxing stay. Beds are comfortable with warm bedding.. This was our second time renting this home and we hope to come back again!
The place was great and the owners were super accommodating and responsive. The three of us (and our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our nearly 2 month-long stay. The beds were comfortable and there was a lot of closet space; the Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need; and the setting was beautiful.
Kristin was a pleasure to deal with, and extremely thoughtful. The cabin is nicely appointed, large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, closets & dressers. Plenty of supplies to get you started, pleasantly scented candles, and lots of games & sporting equipment to borrow. Room to spread out for our group of 6 & dog. We were there during some blustery winter weather, so did not use the decks, but there are several, great mountains views, a gas grill & fire pit. Towels & linens were good quality, & bedding is warm & comfortable. The checkout procedures were much appreciated, simple & short. The neighborhood was quiet, & historic Georgetown is worth visiting and only about a mile from the cabin. Lovely and affordable art coop stores, as well as the normal shopping you’d expect. Recommend picking up groceries in Idaho Springs at Safeway if traveling in on I70 West, from Denver. We didn’t head toward Silverthorne area, but lots of options there, too. We’re already making our plans to return!
