Easy to find and close to attractions. No towels in room, had to ask at front desk. Housekeeping did not check room, had to reuse towels and washcloths from previous day. Rooms are showing their age. Clerk was friendly and informative. Not sure if I would stay again. Overall, not bad.

wasnt anything in particular, just not the best choice if in the area. the bed n pillows were ready for replacement. checking in was normal. pool looked fine. couple nice spots to eat within walking distance. all n all for $120 it is what it is. like i said, wouldn't recommend. lotta choices around.

The room #12 was not very clean. The appearance from the outside was poor. The window curtains were full of holes.The tube/shower had NO safety bars. My wife was afraid to use it. The floor was very slippery. The windows were dirty. It is not a place we would ever recommend or revisit.

There was ants all over the room, including the bed. It looked like some people were living there like it was apartments and everyone was loud and disrespectful. When we arrived our door was already unlocked.

My expectations for a budget Hotel were appropriate and the hotel met those expectations and value. Our room was clean and I left a tip. My main issue was with loiterers and poorly and sloppy dressed guests/residents hanging out on sidewalks (not even porches) in front of their rooms like a slum neighborhood. Maybe they live there? Either way, It created an unsafe vibe and people watching you arrive and leave your Motel room is uncomfortable (am I going to be robbed while out to dinner?). Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. Worth a shot once. Unlikely to go back.

Carpet and bedding in the room was quite wet. Room had a smell to it. Found stains on the bedding. The lady in the office was very nice. Won't book it again

The rooms were so dirty dead bugs laying pot hanging the room smells like mold because the air conditioner was full of mold the toilet seat was to big for the toilet I worked at a motel if my rooms ever looked like these I would have been fired! I can’t believe that nobody has checked all this out and close it down the mold will make you sick!

I’ve stayed at plenty of older motels that need renovations, but overall we’re clean. The Colton Motel however is beyond dirty. Rooms smell of cigarettes and mold. Pretty sure they never clean anything. Had to cut my stay short and book another hotel, it was that bad. If visiting Gettysburg, stay away from this place!
