"The hotel is in the centre of Luca and within walking distance of anything you could want within the walled city. I felt safe as a solo female traveller and was comforted by the rooms' security. "The property was very well located for touring the old town and places of interest. The room was spoilt by stale odours in the bathroom. This was possibly due to a maintenance issue with the shower's drain."

"We liked the location and the fact it was quiet.The bed was comfortable. Kitchen adequate but would have liked electric kettle. It was wet weather and we had no control over heating as it was put on remotely and only occasionally during our weeks stay. We appreciated the clean towels and linen everyday. A welcome pack was not included ie info on nearest shop. So more difficult when travelling without a car. Lucca is a wonderful city and a few little touches would have made us feel more welcome...

Breakfast room was a little tight for the number of guests staying and air con did not really operate that well in reception area and breakfast room. "Charming Residenza right in the historic centre of Lucca, about 15 minutes from Anfiteatro. The rooms were clean and comfortable and we had an adorable balcony where we breakfasted al fresco each morning. Alessandra was delightful. She speaks excellent English and was efficient and helpful.
