"Had an AMAZINGLY relaxing time at St. Peter's Bay Resort. From the front desk, to the waiters and cleaning staff, the staff was friendly and helpful. The ocean view from our room was spectacular. Although we did not have dinner here, breakfast and lunch were good. If there is any one thing that I could say could use improvement, would be the beachside service, as there is essentially zero beachside service. I loved our stay at this beautiful resort. Please remember to tip for good service. It goes a long way for the lovely Bajan people."

"We enjoyed a wonderful family holiday here. Everything was perfect. Mike (the concierge) was most helpful as were all the staff. All extremely polite and unobtrusive. We made good use of the barbecue for the fish from the local fish market which was absolutely delicious . We walked down to the Sea Shed for meals and drinks regularly and enjoyed the sunset and ‘karaoke’ at Thunder Bay. We did hire a vehicle to go over to the East Coast for the day and to get shopping etc, although we have been to Barbados before it’s nice to have the option to pop out for a few day trips, although it’s not necessary as the shops do deliver and there are quite a few nice restaurants to walk to. Sad to leave !!"

"What a special property this is. We are already planning a return to the island and to Monkey Puzzle Villa. This really is like a home from home except with much better weather, a hot tub and a few minutes walk to Mullins Beach. Marcia was the consummate hostess and even had a bottle of rum waiting for us when we arrived, which I appreciated. Cannot recommend this place highly enough."

"Solaris is an awesome property, even more beautiful than captured in the on-ine pictures. Cheryl and her staff took wonderful care of us. (Ask Cheryl to make you some rum punch, or Bajun fish cakes, or to fry up some red snapper!) The property is convenient to Speightstown, other local shopping and Oistin's if your are inclined for some night life. But the home and grounds are so comfortable there is really no reason to do anything but kick back, and enjoy the beach and the sun (and Cheryl's rum punch!)"

"The villa is well presented, situated ten minutes walk from two of the best beaches on the island, Gibbes and Mullins. It is large and open plan, with two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom each with plenty of storage and AC as standard. Two of the bedrooms are en suite whilst the third bedroom has the use of the 'family bathroom'. All bathrooms are clean and reasonably modern. The beds and bedding are of excellent standard. The fourth bedroom is in a garden room the other side of the pool and is smaller than the villa bedrooms. It has an adequate en-suite bathroom, also on the small side. The AC unit in the room leaked the day we arrived and resulted in soaked through mattress/pillows and bedding. We had to strip the bed and make the best of it until it was repaired the next day. The engineer told us the unit was dirty. The kitchen is large and modern and has most of the accessories you would expect. However, the drawers in the fridge were broken which resulted in limited storage space for bottles etc. Not what we expected. A spotlight in the kitchen flashed constantly but was not replaced during our 10 day stay despite more than one request. The highlight of the villa is the outdoor space, with a BBQ, large seating area for dinner and a separate lounging area. The pool area is great. However, there were only six sunbeds despite us being a party of 7. The cleaner (Shan) was helpful but communications with the housekeeper were slow. In summary, a nice stay."

"Had a lovely time. The villa was clean and nice and in a good community with a pleasant pool. About 5-10 minutes walk to the beach. Had some air conditioner issues and Marcia and co. were right on it and had it fixed. Highly recommend."
