“After a tricky arrival (our American phone could not dial the local number) we made it in. Nice space and a good location. ”

“Hotel looks lovely from outside. You walk straight in to a bar / cafe area which is also reception. Bedrooms are in a separate building around 100m away, not great when the weather is bad, bedrooms are ok. Open plan style with a bathroom in it & a separate small toilet. Went for breakfast an hour before it ended and the food choice was very limited & most items had been replenished, so options were poor.”

“Wij hebben een prima overnachting gehad, personeel was vriendelijk. Ruime schone kamer. Enige opmerking is dat de vloer gehorig is (contactgeluid), wat natuurlijk ook te verwachten is in karakteristiek gebouw als dit en dus voor ons ook prima. ”

“Hotel is very new, good design and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only thing is the air conditioning in my room seems not work well, only wind blows out and no cool air, a bit warm in the room. Over all is very good.”

“Friendly small bussines with beautiful room. My room was spacious and very clean. Good WIFI connection and plenty of space for parking. Breakfast was superb. I was not expecting a huge selection. Good quality food and drinks. Highly recommended. ”

“Amazing River View by the restaurant. Room is clean, and people here is very kindly. It's just about half hour from Steenwjk station to here by the bus via Geithorn. However, the last bus leave Steenwjk is about 1830 everyday. ”

“This is an absolute GEM. We loved every part of the stay. The unique house type for a family is a very interesting design concept but was very efficient. It wasn’t the biggest room for the 3 men, but we made the most of it by sharing the space peacefully. Everything was about saving the earth which I also love taking part in. “we stayed in the room 31 on the top floor. room facilities and breakfast were good under this reasonable pricing. it’s a hundreds year old house with steep staircase so you may need to be careful when you travel with big suitcases. love they have different classic themes for bedroom decor, also the whisky bar on ground floor”
