The older section of the hotel is not wheelchair accessible. When I checked in, I asked whether there was an elevator for my elderly mother, but I was told there was not because I had booked through Expedia. I was informed that guests who book through Expedia are placed in rooms in the older building, which does not have an elevator.
I feel this should have been clearly disclosed on Expedia before I made my reservation. It gave the impression that guests who book through third-party sites are treated differently.
If you or someone in your party needs wheelchair access or has difficulty with stairs, I would not recommend this hotel unless you can confirm that you will be staying in the newer building with an elevator.
The customer service in this situation was very disappointing.
My mother had to climb three floors.
