The room was clean, spacious, and beautiful. The staff were all extremely hospitable and kind. We partook in the (free!) s’mores kits by a roaring fire outside, enjoyed a breakfast basket in the morning served with a Stanley thermos full of delicious coffee, and in general loved lake placid. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

It pretty and staff are friendly. The only problem was only 1 elevator works and we are at the 5th floor. Overall, it was a good stay. Breakfast is good.

Fantastic that breakfast is included. And it was good. Lake view balcony you do see the lake but it’s also very much parking lot and tennis court view. Pub next door has great food. Soup of the day is top notch. Very disappointed that I received an email a few days before we arrived asking if they could make our stay better. I advised it was my husband’s 50th bday and asked if they had ideas to make it more special. The auto reply said I would get a reply within 24hrs. I got NOTHING. No reply at all. That was disappointing
