Apart from that we enjoyed the stay, the room and facilitates. It is conveniently located for many shops ahd restaurants and for the tram. Breakfast was a good selection of foods, mainly Japanese. We spoke with someone after making reservation to ask what we needed to bring. My father in law spoke with someone and gave them our name. When we went to check in there wasn’t a room available for dog. They did give us a smoking room with a dog crate on the third floor. They said dogs were only allowed on first floor. We heard another dog on the third floor. Also we were charged $150 hot springs tax. "This was by far the nicest room/resort we have stayed in. After being cramped in many Japanese hotels and ryokans, this was much much larger with three queen/full size beds, a 65" TV and an outdoor bath (mineral salts available in the lobby). However, please understand that as this location is very remote, dining options in the area and transportation may be limited. This may be why we didn't see any foreigners there? However, they do provide pick-up service to and from the Shin-Iwakuni station...

"娘家族と全員で9人とワンコ1匹で宿泊しました。9人での真夏の旅行は、初めてで…とにかくワンコも泊まれる一棟貸しを探して、こちらにおじゃましました。
島なので、海水浴もサイコーのロケーションで、砂浜もサラサラきれいだし、無料シャワーもあり、孫たちは大興奮でした。
お部屋は、設備とか細部にまでオーナーのこだわり満載の、至れり尽せりで、アイデアいっぱいでした。エアコンバ リバリ効かせてくれてたので、ずっと涼しかったです。
とてもセンス良いお宿です。
食事は、BBQとモーニングをお願いしました。その日採れた新鮮な魚介類やお肉、ご飯は炊いておむすびを作りました。おなかいっぱいです。モーニングは、近くのカフェから。
作ったり片付けしたりが、面倒なら
シェフが来てコース料理をふるまってもらえるプランも良いと思います。
薪ストーブがあったので、冬も素敵だと思います。
8月は主人と娘の誕生日だったので、事前にオーナーさんに相談しました。とても親身に答えてくださいました。
たまたま、今回は呉市のクーポンが使えたので、ラッキーでした。
帰りは、軍艦を観て…...
