8.2/10 Very Good! (10 reviews)
It's a new hotel at older part of Batumi. Rooms are nice and fresh. The area is quieter than modern parts of Batumi and not popular among Arabs etc. Thanks to this there is minimal traffic at night. There are still plenty of restaurants and shops around and it's a small walk to the beach. If you let them know ahead then they reserve parking place in front of the hotel. Parking at Batumi is a big problem and it's a good option. There are beautiful views from the breakfast room. Some guests arriving at night were very noisy on stairways. Luckily they didn't stay on the same floor.

The room was small and a bit crowded. There weren't any cups or mugs. Very nice view. Located at the noisy/busy end of Batumi.

7/10 Good! (10 reviews)
I had a very unpleasant experience staying here over the past two days. First of all, the locker/door system is clearly broken — I was actually locked inside my room for two hours, which was both stressful and unacceptable. The building itself feels poorly managed and unsafe. Random people seem to have easy access, and I was even approached in the elevator by individuals asking me for money, which made me very uncomfortable. Check-in was also a hassle. I had to wait in the lobby for a long time with no clear assistance or organization. Additionally, this place is advertised as an “apartment hotel,” but there are no proper kitchen facilities, which is misleading. Overall, I would not recommend staying here due to safety concerns, poor management, and misleading amenities.

Frequently asked questions

What's included in a Gonio vacation package?
A Gonio vacation package typically bundles your round-trip flights, hotel stays, and the option to add a rental car. As Gonio is known for its beaches, many hotels offer convenient access to the coastline. Specific amenities like free WiFi or parking can often be found when selecting your hotel.

Exactly what's included will vary by hotel and package, so it's worth reviewing the details before you confirm your booking.
How can I save money on a Gonio vacation package?
When you bundle, you can save up to 30%*. To save money on a Gonio package, consider traveling during the quieter months or be flexible with your dates to find more options. Bundling your flights and hotel together often unlocks savings compared to booking separately. *Members only. Savings vary.
Is Gonio better suited for a beach vacation or a cultural trip?
Gonio is primarily an outdoor and nature destination, offering a strong focus on beaches and scenic views for a Gonio vacation. Its coastal location means travelers can enjoy the Black Sea, with Batumi Beach about 11 miles from central Gonio providing a popular spot for sun and sand.

A Gonio vacation can still include cultural elements. Nearby Europe Square, about 10 miles from central Gonio, offers a glimpse into the region's urban life and architecture. Choosing a Gonio vacation package allows you to tailor your stay to either focus on the natural beauty or explore nearby cultural sites.

Do you need to rent a car in Gonio, or is public transport enough?
For a Gonio vacation package, a rental car offers the most flexibility, especially since Gonio is an outdoor and nature destination outside a major city. While local transport options may exist, many attractions like Batumi Botanical Garden (about 19 miles from central Gonio) are spread out, making a car convenient for exploring beyond your immediate resort area.

If your Gonio vacation packages with flights focus on a resort stay with on-site amenities and beach access, a car might be less essential for daily needs. However, for travelers looking to explore the wider region or visit sites like Batumi Beach (about 11 miles away) or Europe Square (about 10 miles away), a car provides greater freedom. Consider your itinerary and desired level of exploration when deciding on transportation for your Gonio beach vacation packages.
Can I change or cancel my Gonio vacation package if my plans change?
Yes, you can cancel your vacation package via your itinerary page on Expedia or by contacting customer service. Remember that some packages are fully refundable, but the details vary based on each unique booking. A fully refundable package may depend on how far out from the travel dates you're canceling and what airline you are traveling with.

Yes, members who join our free One Key™ travel rewards program can instantly unlock additional savings and save 10% or more on over 500,000 stays worldwide with Member Prices and over 1 million car rentals.
Does Expedia offer Book Now, Pay Later Gonio vacation packages?

How does free cancellation work on Gonio vacation packages?

Many bookings allow free cancellation up to a stated deadline (often a few days before travel) where eligible. Read the cancellation terms carefully when reviewing the package, and visit Expedia help center for further details.
Is it cheaper to book a Gonio vacation as a package or separately?
