Beautiful beachfront property with lovely clean rooms and extremely lovely hosts! Very pet friendly with private decks. Dinners available to guests made from locally sourced ingredients.

Everything was perfect. The hosts were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and we had the best views of the ocean! I also appreciated the windows and doors that open to the fresh air, and no carpeting. We had the Tower Suite, and it was well worth the extra money that we paid for it. Also, the the inn is very tastefully decorated. If we are ever back in PEI we would definitely stay there again!

Excellent Inn - very clean and well maintained. Thomas and Barbara are excellent hosts. The dining experience us great with fresh home made food prepared every day. We really enjoyed our stay.

What a lovely stay in PEI. The property itself is gorgeous and the inn keepers Barbara & Thomas make you feel right at home. We truly love Ed our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a coastal stay on the island.

Wonderful Inn in PEI!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. Barbara and Thomas are excellent hosts. We only saw post check out that they had sent us notes prior to checkin. They’re very on top of things, gave us great recommendations and the place is absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful two nights here exploring the area. Perfect room with beautiful sea view, the bed was the most comfortable ever, as were the pillows. Owner/chef Barbara very knowledgeable and helpful and a very well stocked library. Dinner and breakfast both delicious, home made jams and bread ,cheese and cold cuts for breakfast. A beautiful place to spend time!

Very kind and welcoming staff who are always open to conversation. The food is very, very fresh, and well made by their chef Barbara. I went alone as a 24 year old woman and felt very safe, so I'd highly recommend! However make sure to rent a car or prepare to pay a lot of money for the taxi, as the property is far out and doesn't have access to Uber :)

I couldn’t say enough praise about 45 Steps Inn! Thomas and Barbara are amazing hosts, and truly have a piece of paradise. From the moment we pulled up to the property we felt relaxed, in awe and welcome. The room was immaculate, thoughtfully decorated, and the VIEWS are to die for. Barbara’s cooking was impeccable. I highly recommend you dine at least once at the Inn to enjoy what she imagines up. The breakfast was delicious and all house made. They are in a beautiful location where you can explore the east part of the island and enjoy what the north shore has to offer. We cannot wait to return!! Bonus Note - their pugs are the sweetest little souls. Highly recommend stopping to give them a pet!

Excellent few days stay to explore PEI

Amazing location for views of the sea. Hosts do anything to make the stay more comfortable and were amazing with the kids getting breakfast setup, providing a nighttime book and generally interacting with them. Super clean and very welcoming and luxurious!
