“We’ve stayed here before and it is reasonably comfortable and price is what you’d expect. This time, after a very long drive we found the tv wasn’t working. The front desk staff tried to bring a new remote but that didn’t fix it. We were later offered that someone could come and replace the tv box at 10pm…. Which, travelling with kids, is basically when we’d be in bed. To boot, the desk chair was broken and not adjustable so wasn’t useful for seating and the toilet was running, which was……

“No elevator to our room wife broke her leg not to long ago still on hiking poles. Breakfast was decent hotel is past its prime but the rooms are spacious.”

“Our room was clean, beds comfy and well made. The rest of the hotel was awful. Everything was dirty, sticky and had an underlying odor to it. The bathrooms (near the breakfast room) were absolutely disgusting. The breakfast food was so gross and just poorly monitored. There was no one around to ask for things. They offered cereal but no bowls or milk, no coffee creamers, the pancake machine was broken but they kept putting new bags of batter in it (like it would make a difference). It was……

“This is an old road side motel that the owners are clearly renovating. The staff were really nice. Everything was clean. This is a good place to stay off the trans-canada highway to get some rest. Very close to stores and food.”

“Parking was very easy and the room was cool and very clean. I missed the fact that there was not a coffee maker or microwave in the room but they were conveniently located in the lobby close to our room.”
