“It was our first stay at the King Arthur although we have been visitors to the pub for many years. We were thoroughly impressed with room number 8 from the moment we entered, spacious,clean, great views over the beautifully kept gardens, great shower room and a credit to the house cleaning team. “Check in was seemless and our bags were carried up to our room. We ate in each night, 3 times, several special offers, good range of dishes, expertly cooked and presented. Cooked breakfast was excellent with several options. Happy hour in the bar between 5 and 7pm, buy 1 get 1 free. Overall a great stay. ”

“We enjoyed our stay very much! The property owner obviously thought of every need one might have. From the towels to the tea to the nicely stocked breakfast. We had a wonderful view from 5B, a super bed and it was quiet. Along the stair landings were books, dog biscuits, wine corkscrews and even a sewing kit. A big thanks to Patrick. ”
