Charming Log Cabin on Private Pond Nestled in Woods.

My charming log cabin sits on 100 acres of private land which adjoins 2200 of New York State Forest. It overlooks a small pond that is stocked with bass. You are welcome to catch a few and cook them fresh on the gas grill. The front porch is comfortable with beautiful views of the pond, hills, and the valley below.

It is a cozy cabin with a sleeping loft and comes with a fully equipped kitchen and a shower. The loft has a queen size bed and the first floor has a double futon.

The sleeping loft is reached via a narrow metal spiral staircase.

Bring your bicycles in the summer or your cross-country skis or snowshoes in the winter or your hiking boots year round, as the state forest is full of groomed trails. Or bring your books and just relax and enjoy your surroundings.

There is a fire pit for cool evenings or just to enjoy while relaxing.

We are only 12 minutes from Ellicottville, New York which is a quaint little ski and resort town. You can ski in the winter or golf in the summer. There are world-class restaurants for fine dining and wonderful shopping. Take advantage of all that this enchanting area has to offer. I have some of the highlights listed below.

It is the perfect place for solitude or a romantic getaway. I hope you will come and enjoy this special place on Golden Hill!!

Wonderful, Relaxing Week!
The property was a wonderful place to get away and relax. Our dogs were able to run off leash for their first time. They swam in the pond and we hiked in the woods behind the cabin every morning. My wife and I had coffee while enjoying the great view, we made smore's in the firepit and grilled on several occasions. The nearby town Ellicottville was slow paced and had some very enjoyable restaurants (winery, brewery, and Dina's), Niagara falls was close by. Overall the property was fantastic and there was a nice mix of things to do in the area...we plan to visit again!

Cozy Cabin!
Bette was an amazing host and was always a quick response away! The cabin is even cozier than pictured and is a perfect getaway! My partner and I went to Holiday Valley to ski for the day and it was an easy 18 minute drive away from downtown Ellicottville and the resort. We definitely would come again!!

Beautiful Private and Perfect!
We truly enjoyed this little private getaway during the hussle of the holiday season. Our host was so helpful, making sure we found the driveway and could get into the cabin. We took long walks and enjoyed a trip to Ellicottville.

The cabin and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful! My husband and I (plus our 3 dogs) had an amazing time and hope to go back soon. We couldn’t have asked for more and our dogs couldn’t get enough of running around (and swimming in) the pond! Bette was a great host and very responsive! Thanks again for an amazing trip!
