"Fabulous!!! My wife and I were looking for a base to stay for 11 days in the Perigord / North Dordogne to allow us to explore the area and found this fantastic "petit chateau" on the outskirts of Thiviers. A large villa in its own extensive garden with plenty of space in which to relax. William the host and Joseph the chef were very friendly, relaxed and attentive. "Compact and well appointed , we liked the sliding shutters that kept out the sun, and tge masses of storage. It would be a great place to spend several days exploring the area. Julien and Angelique are good hosts who made us feel very welcome, and it was lovely to be able to have an excellent dinner there too after a long drive. We felt the only thing that let it down was the minimalist breakfast- not very good value. We would certainly return, but maybe not for breakfast."
