Greenbrier West Vacations from $203

We traveled for my nieces birthday but it was ruined because of a payment overcharge which affected her plans for the weekend. The floors needed to be mopped…I walked barefoot through my room and the floors was so dirty I had to wash my feet before going to bed.

I paid for a room that did not have an ocean view. I asked to upgrade to an ocean-view room and was charged an additional ….. Unfortunately, as soon as I walked into the upgraded room, I immediately started dealing with roaches. On top of that, the bathtub was clogged. I contacted the front desk, and they offered to have someone spray for the roaches and unclog the tub. The bathtub was fixed, but the roach problem continued. Because of this, I asked to be moved to another room. I ended up having to move rooms two additional times during my stay. Thankfully, the next room did not have roaches or a clogged bathtub, but when I went to use the microwave/convection oven, it did not work. At that point, the only solution I was offered was to move rooms yet again, which I did not want to do after already having to pack up and relocate multiple times. What disappointed me the most was that after spending …..and dealing with roaches, a clogged bathtub, broken appliances, and multiple room changes, I was never offered a partial refund or any type of compensation for the inconvenience. This was my first time visiting Virginia and my first stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing, and I definitely will not stay at this establishment again. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a clean, functional room and a much better response to the problems I experienced.

Super clean! Felt like home. Having your own little cottage was very nice! Enjoyed watching the water from the porch. The pool area was awesome even though it rained the majority of the trip so we didn’t get to try it out. Felt like a resort. 10/10
