“The almost permanent view of the lake was magnificent. Since the lake is west of the property, the sunsets are also wonderful. I even took one of the kayaks out to the Lighthouse. Even though it looks far away but it only took about 10 minutes of easy paddling. Great place for a peaceful vacation. Bar Harbour was close enough for quick day trip and then the Loop at Acadia Nat'l Park provided great panoramic views.”

“What a great house! The house was everything it was advertised to be, complete with a beautiful sunset over the lake. Super comfortable, clean with nice decor/touches throughout the house. It was a wonderful home away from home!”

“The Wee White Cottage is at the end of a private road. In October when we stayed we had the neighborhood mostly to ourselves. It was wonderfully quiet. The cottage is rustic but nicely decorated and had everything we needed. It felt like home. The lake is only steps away. If I had to use only one word to describe our stay it would be relaxing!”

“The property is beautiful. The location on the lake couldn't be beat. The hosts are extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. I gave the property a 4 because we couldn't open the windows(also no screens in the windows) in the main part of the cabin and on hot summer days and nights the inside was very uncomfortable. The bedrooms have ceing fans but nothing in the main cabin. Luckily we brough our own but it still didn't cool the cabin enough. Being somewhat picky it would have been nice...

“My family stayed here over labor day weekend. Very cute cabin with all the amenities of being at home. This was perfect as minimal packing is great with a 2 year old 10 year old. The kids loved the little beach and the views from the cabin were amazing. We enjoyed our stay and will likely go back again.”

“Very relaxing vacation. The excellent weather certainly helped. We live locally so our adult children could come over for kayaking and dinners. The fire pit was great and we had s’mores every night. Just need to bring your own firewood. Having Wi-Fi was a plus. Dog friendly as it was fenced all around.”

“Ingham Pond is truly a magical location. The cottage is just as described with everything you need in tip-top shape. Kitchen is one of the best equipped we've seen in a similar property. There is a great grill to use and you are right on this quiet pond where the loudest noise you are likely to hear are the Loons calling. Roger is a great host and he is nearby if you need anything. Would definitely plan to return and have already recommended it to friends.”

“The property was gust what we wanted. Peaceful spot and well equipped and comfortable. The only short coming was the the kitchen equipment. We opted to buy some pans to allow proper meal preparation.”

“Cabin was well stocked with supplies and just about anything you could need. The cabin could definitely use some upgrades including a way of locking the premises, shower losing warm water consistently, and mice definitely being active. Yard had a lot of dog poop that wasn't cleaned up. Overall enjoyed our stay due to location and privacy of the beautiful lakefront property.”

“Roger’s camp is a wonderful way to escape into a world of peace and quiet. Read a book on the dock or sit by the fire at night and watch the moon rise over the lake. Nothing compares to the tranquility of this lakeside paradise. Hope to come again next year.”

“Susan Jeff are obviously seasoned and experienced hosts. Their impeccable attention to details is amazing! Susan greeted us Briefly and warmly, and then left us to ourselves. The apartment in their home in a newer, upscale development was very clean and spacious. They had left us little gifts each day and a helpful binder with suggestions for local restaurants and things to do. Very quiet neighborhood, but 5-10 minutes away from restaurants and shopping.”

“Really enjoyed the location and charm of the place. It has the rustic feel of a cabin with all the modern amenities for a comfortable stay.”
