“The location is close to Downtown, Groningen. The room style is quite old and the furniture is also quite old. There was only one window facing the chimney. When the window is open, flies often got in. No lift nor air conditioning. While the temperature was up to over 26, we could only rely on a noisy electric fan. The merits about the room were that the bathroom was spacious and cozy and breakfast was great. ”

“About a 12 minute walk from the station. Some rooms appear to have been renovated, ours certainly was not. For the price it was not good at all. Peeling wallpaper, very dirty carpet, chrome gone from bathroom tap, moldy shower etc. The only plus was the bed was comfortable and clean. There was no AC, just a fan would be OK because it can get very noisy with the window open. I did speak to the manager to ask if we could be moved to a renovated room, however she wanted an extra €30 per night, so……
