“The stay is completely as advertised. Stylish and modern. Literally right next door is a vegan eatery and two steps beyond that is another eating establishment. Even if that wasn’t the case Ubereats works well and it’s so close to multiple food places that you have plenty of options. A train does run but it takes maybe 2-3 seconds to pass so by the time you say I hear the train it has already passed by. Super secure. Front gate locks, front door locks. Almost has a fortress type security feel to……

“This property is not quite a traditional VRBO, as the owners live on-site. However, for our family that was not a drawback, as it meant that Eduardo would wander by with four servings of whatever delicious item Betty was creating (homemade flan, Spanish tortilla, carrot cake, oh my!) That also allowed us to participate in a coffee history lesson and coffee roasting--truly one of the exceptional experiences we had in Costa Rica. Eduardo also was very accommodating as our check-in time got pushed……

“This beautiful, spacious, contemporary, clean, and meticulously appointed home in a gated community in the city of Heredia proved to be the perfect spot for four of us attending Tico Lingo language school for a week. A five-minute walk to class, a 15-minute walk to city centro, numerous excellent sodas and cafes in the neighborhood, and a top-notch super market just up the street—we were SO spoiled. The vistas of the city and the mountains from the house were stunning, and the inviting swimming……

“We just completed our stay at this home and it was lovely. The location is great, it was clean and well laid out and I would recommend it. And super comfy beds too! The host is wonderful, very responsive and helpful. The keys are a tiny bit confusing as to which goes to which door but we sorted it out. Excellent restaurants nearby and a handy quick mart just down the street a bit. ”
