Property located in terrible neighborhood. Facility was not clean. Shower was disgusting. No amenities other than WiFi.

Quite close to the Malecon line, not so well signed with a banner.
Room was clean but no wiring connection close to the bed, no remote control for the a/c.
Guy of the reception speak a good English and he’s handful.

The hotel is located close to downtown attractions and bus lines
TV was only in Spanish but that's how it goes in Latin America

Staff attentive and helpful.
I am a diabetic and need to maintain my insulin below 80 degrees. I use freezer packs for travel and they require refreezing every few hours. No fridge in my original room. Staff at first put the freezer packs in a room with a fridge and delivered packs to me. On second day they upgraded my room to a lower floor with a double room with fridge. Fewer stairs for me to climb and easy to take.care of insulin. No extra charge. I felt genuine concern from staff and a willingness to help.
Those people who work in the hotel were really nice, There is grocery store close to hotel, and small cafeterias, all of it is in a walking distance. Also there is huge market where you can buy everything, and it is with in a block.

Nice hotel, not so great area
Hotel is fine for a night or two, however don't leave any food open in the room as there are small bugs everywhere which will swarm over the food. The area feels a little unsafe, but the Malecon is not far away to get to.

Very basic hotel with no clean water or soap
Stayed in fourth floor which had no elevators. Room was very basic in a shady location so do not recommend for solo or women travelers. No clean water or soap available so pack your own. Very difficult to find the hotel as located along street and blends in with other doors/shops.
